Abstract
  • The thesis of this project report is that home-centered evangelism is a neglected but highly successful means of evangelism for Baptist churches in Guatemala. As such, it should be promoted in Guatamalan Baptist life through the Baptist seminary program. This became the project. The thesis is defended upon the basis of New Testament evangelistic practices as well as those of successful contemporary churches in Guatemala and elsewhere. Guatemalan cultural factors favoring home-centered evangelism are examined as is the general history of home-centered evangelism.
