Abstract
  • The plan of the project was to walk along a justice path with college students and with needy children, homeless persons, and women in prison. The students' involvement with oppressed persons intentionally was planned to encourage a change in attitude and behavior. The students' experiences were connected with the stories of Jesus of Nazareth through dramatic preaching, reflection and conversation. The actions of the students - serving at the soup kitchen, tutoring, or visiting women in prison contributed to the growth of justice transformation. An alternative view of the city's children and adults, the college, and each other was nurtured.
