Abstract
  • This thesis illustrates how sacred drama and dance are effective as teaching, witnessing and transforming ministries within the liturgical life of the churches on the Peninsula Delaware Conference of The United Methodist Church and specifically, the Preston-Hurlock United Methodist Church. The method of research is the result of local and conference-wide teaching opportunities, as well as implementing dance and drama ministries on the Preston-Hurlock charge. The evaluation consists of interviews and surveys of participants and congregations. The conclusion demonstrates that sacred drama and dance are effective educational, transformational and evangelism tools in the life of the Church.
