Abstract
  • In a postmodern world, the quest for truth is suspect. As a means of facilitating this quest, preaching is also suspect. The Post-enlightenment fragmentation of facts from values that reduced religion to little more than subjective opinion and elevated science to a place of supreme authority altered the landscape of the church and impacted the nature of preaching. The current postmodern quest for truth invites preachers to explore collaborative models of discovering and proclaiming truth that will further enable preachers to rediscover a voice that is both meaning full and relevant in a postmodern world.
