Abstract
  • This project was designed to create a replicable model to address the urgent need for healthy dialogue and collaboration within a military chapel community. The project was implemented at a military installation with only one chapel, which must be amicably utilized by several faith groups. Nine monthly meetings were selected with the two chapel Advisory Councils to ascertain attitudes toward faith group collaboration. This model's instruments (e.g., vision statement, sermons and literature) can be used in other diverse chapel communities. The pre-test and post-test questionnaires revealed that the instruments were effective in changing attitudes and also in increasing collaboration.
