Abstract
  • The project approaches peace issues and nuclear disarmament in two ways: theologically, by considering the nature of humankind and its loss of shalom, and practically, through looking at the steps humankind can take to restore that wholeness of life which is its birthright. These two approaches are so intertwined and interrelated that both are needed if one is to answer the most pressing question of our time -- can the human race survive? By taking a serious and hard look at humanity one is better equipped to take positive steps to regain one's rightful place as co-workers with God in the continuing act of creation.
