- The purpose of the project was to determine whether senior adults and young adults could be enabled to experience intergenerational koinonia. The research method included randomized and nonrandomized samples utilizing two control groups and three experimental groups. Five testing instruments were used. The project director employed a sermon series from I Corinthians, an intergenerational discipleship course, a young adult course on senior adulthood, and an intergenerational activity council during the implementation of the project. Each group was observed and tested to determine if intergenerational koinonia had been achieved. All three hypotheses were proven.
