Abstract
  • What are the character qualities of pastors who have transitioned their congregations through changes in their worship lives, and what is their role in the change? This study determined, through surveys, personal interviews, and observation, the processes used in the change. The most important thing I discovered was that some pastors feel a real confusion about their leadership role in their congregations. They are finding that the model of servant leader, as they understand it, is inadequate for many situations they are facing. A new paradigm of the leadership process is presented for consideration.
