Abstrakt

This project is about evangelical missionary work in Italy. It begins with a profile of Italy and of the Italian people in which pertinent geographic, demographic, historical, politico-economic, social and religious factors related to the country are presented. After this, the writer, a former missionary to Italy, making use of primary documents, traces the forty-five year history of the work of Conservative Baptists in that country. Then, based on his analysis of the present situation, he outlines proposals for future development of the Conservative Baptist ministry.
