  • The purpose of this doctor of ministry project is to develop an instrument which will help facilitate the integration of psychology and theology by pastoral counseling students at the Pastoral Counseling and Education Center of Dallas, Texas. The instrument is to honor the diversity that will be present in any group of pastoral counseling students in such a way that the students are able to explore their own personal perspectives on theology and psychology without experiencing a need to conform to the perspectives held by others. The students then will be helped to form an understanding of the integration of their psychological and theological perspectives. In addition the students will be helped to accept and affirm diversity expressed by others including the other pastoral counseling students in the class and the clients with whom the students work.
