- Abstract
- In the interest of encouraging receptivity to the charismatic experience in parish worship and ministry, this study strives to identify those factors or influences that have contributed to individuals wanting that experience. Nine individuals were asked what made them receptive to the charismatic experience. Common influence factors were identified which the group members shared and which made them receptive to the charismatic experience. With these influence factors identified, the closing chapter of this thesis suggests ways in which the leadership may strategically orchestrate them to make their parish likewise receptive to the charismatic experience without unduly disturbing the parish membership.
