  • Ministry statistics from 2007 cite that 80% of seminary graduates who enter the ministry leave their callings within 5 years. Half of the men who step down from the pulpit will cite their main reason for resignation as the unhappiness of their wives. This project was born out of a desire, as a current minister's wife, to help prepare future ministers' wives to stay the course over the often difficult years of ministry ahead. Using original research via surveys of current ministers' wives, six major areas of focus for ministry preparation are addressed to inform, support, and encourage ministers' wives.
