- Abstract
- This project explores perceptions and practices of 66 pastoral leaders as they relate to J Robert Clinton's five focal points for finishing well in ministry. All of the pastors studied were graduates of Piedmont Bible College, and all were veterans of more than 25 years in ministry. Clinton's five focal points are leadership perspective, learning posture, mentoring relationships, seasons of spiritual renewal, and specific discipline in ministry crises. The projects finds that these pastors perceive significant value in these focal points and practice them well. These focal points may be considered important indicators for success in pastoral practice.
