  • Today's concept and practice of Christian vocation, which sees only a select few as being authentically called, is a distortion of what is depicted in the Bible. This project is designed to reclaim the biblical understanding of vocation. Materials for a three-day seminar are provided to assist participants in recognizing God's grace at work calling them to ministry, and how to begin to discern that calling. The conclusion of this study affirms the premise that redefining and reclaiming Christian vocation is vital in the church so that all have a sense of calling to mission and ministry.
