Abstract
  • The purpose of this project in ministry was to equip selected students of Agape Baptist Church, Scottsboro, Alabama, with skills to defend the Christian faith. As the project director, I used the equipping model to complete this project. To determine the best path for the project, I began by researching the field of apologetics to identify essential apologetic skills. Due to the rapidly changing nature of student ministry and the challenges of teaching students, I also researched how to develop engaging, interactive seminars to teach skills. Once I completed the research, I wrote a curriculum to equip selected students from my church. Finally, in a two-day seminar, I equipped seven students with four skills to defend the Christian faith.
