Abstract
  • The project's proposition is that most churches are not prepared to deal with conflict and therefore waste potential ministry time. The nature of conflict is carefully studied through an actual church conflict. The case study method analyzes the conflict and describes positive and negative management principles. These principles are then compared to other conflict management models. The results of the study provide principles that develop a theology of conflict in the local church. Conflict management models are compared. The project's principles help churches change conflict into positive growth.
