- Abstract
- This thesis-project discovers how implementation of intentional, discipleship processes impacts the participation and spiritual vitality of Southern Baptist church members. A biblical, theological summary of discipleship precedes information regarding discipleship processes through Training Network International (T-Net). Bolman and Deal's organizational frames help evaluate Southern Baptist discipleship materials and T-Net. Survery results from Southern Baptist, T-Net-participating church members in Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina show T'Net's impact on discipleship involvement and vitality. There is interview data from twelve church leaders, detail on Culpeper (va.) Baptist Church's T-Net implementation, and an interview with Southern Baptist discipleship leader, Roy T. Edgemon.
