Abstract
  • This project conducts a twofold survey of evangelism practices of a census population of 169 evangelical churches in Winnipeg, Manitoba. A telephone survey solicits data from 169 churches, and a random sample of 30 churches are personally interviewed using an extended survey instrument. The project subjects responses to exploratory and inferential analyses, using the multiple and stepwise regressions. Eight variables emerge as statistically significant for evangelism and church growth, including attendance, three languages, prayer, and mass evangelism.
