This project developed a ministry staffing strategy for Sonoraville Baptist Church in Calhoun, Georgia. This project followed the strategy-planning model outlined by New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. The project examined the characteristics and needs for ministry staffing at Sonoraville Baptist Church by reviewing applicable demographic and psychographic data for our community and church. The project also explored the field of ministry staffing to discover best practices through a review of available resources and interviews with pastors of growing churches. I developed a ministry staffing strategy to guide future staffing philosophy and decision-making at Sonoraville Baptist Church. The project concluded with the presentation of the finished strategy to a group of ministers at the Gordon-Memorial Baptist Association.
