Abstract
  • An adult class was taught on the theme of sabbath in stewardship as Christian vocation. A study guide was prepared to encourage participant reflection and action. The project affirms sabbath as a vital part of God's creative activity. Christians are called to a creative and caring partnership with God. The aim of the study was to indicate that the concept of sabbath helps connect persons to God's purposes for creation. Evaluation through observation and written instruments indicated high satisfaction with content, some changes in lifestyle, and a recommendation to revise and offer the class in one of several possible formats.
