Abstract
  • The impact of a spontaneous revival is revealed when the personal spiritual lives of participants are examined. A researcher-designed survey was mailed to a simple random sample of revival participants, asking about nine aspects of their spiritual lives within the first 12 months of the revival and 25 years later. Survey results showed that even 25 years later the Asbury Revival of 1970 continued to impact the lives of the Asbury College graduates who participated in the revival. Generally, students reported increases in nine aspects of their spiritual lives within the first 12 months of the revival, and continued to increase activity in the following years.
