  • This work focused on clergy couples and the challenges they faced in full time ministry. Clergy couples are growing in numbers in many denominations in the Church. Statistics show many clergy couples are not experiencing healthy relationship, lifestyles, or ministries. In the first phase of the Project clergy couples came together to examine and share the concerns and challenges they felt were unique to and being faced by clergy couples. The couples developed a support group and felt understood for who they were and who God has called them to be. Through a series of meetings, communications, and group sharing, the clergy couples brought healing, nurturing, and encouragement to one another. The aim of this project is to help clergy couples answer the call of God in a manner that is healthy for their ministry and personal life, enabling them to serve God at the highest level.
