Abstrakt

The purpose of this project was to equip selected pastors of the Baptist Associations of Southeast Louisiana (BASELA) with leadership skills to develop potential ministers. I utilized the equipping model for the project. The project began by researching existing methods and models of pastoral leadership development to ascertain the essential elements of pastoral leadership development. Having determined the essential elements, I created a curriculum to instruct the eight essential elements discovered through the research phase. The project culminated in the development of a comprehensive workshop based on the eight essential elements designed to equip selected pastors with a four-step pathway for developing potential ministers within their congregations.
