Abstracto

There was a need for a theological training center in Kamloops, B.C. as the community with a population approaching 100,000 did not have a single facility of this kind. The need for this school prompted the author of this project to begin such a school, with the help of a church in Kamloops. This was accomplished by assessing the desire for such an institution from potential students by means of a questionnaire that was sent to churches in and around Kamloops. The district officials were also polled and when the results were evaluated, the serious planning for the opening of the school went forward. The school opened and had twenty students initially signed up. The first class was taught and the project ended at that point, even though other classes were planned. There is an evaluation of the strengths and weaknesses of the project. The instructor's notes for the first class taught at the school are also included, as well as planning and advertising documents.
