Abstract
  • The rapidly growing Korean church must restructure parish work to accommodate the needs of an industrial and urban Korean society. The project established principles and methods of counseling for Korean churches which can be effective in ministry. Questionnaires reveal that clergy and laity both feel home visitation is necessary. Preaching-centered ministry and home visitation must work together in Korea. It is this project's intention to present a model of both home visitation and counseling that can be used as a guide for future ministry in Korean churches.
