Abstract
  • This field project was a congregational study of twelve Bible characters as models of decision-making. The purpose was to improve faith resources for contemporary Christians. In a series of ten lessons the project presented biographical statements and spiritually relevant issues. A seven step decision-making process was the uniting theme. Methods employed were sermons, pictures, role-playing, discussion, pre- and post-tests, and evaluation questionnaires. Conclusions drawn indicated the project did provide a helpful faith resource, pictures and role-playing definitely contributed to understanding and memory, and the decision-making process was relevant and applicable in the participants' lives.
