Abstrakt

This project was designed to aid Harvard Avenue Baptist Church in the creation of a model of family discipleship. The author researched the competency of the church in ten core areas related to discipleship in the home. A ten-week course was executed that taught parents their scriptural responsibility to disciple their children, equipped them with appropriate skills, and helped them develop confidence to accomplish the task. The results demonstrated that parents need extensive discipleship, mentoring, and accountability to accomplish this task, while short term results proved meaningful.
