Abstract
  • The author pastors in a community experiencing a racial change. He sought to lead his church in developing ministries to the Black population. The project used surveys to determine the church's openness to accepting and ministering to Blacks in the community. Surveys were also used to find out if Blacks in the community would be open to coming to a predominantly white church. If the church and the Blacks were both open to this possibility, then the church needed to develop ministries which would be effective in reaching Black residents of the local community.
