  • The objective of the project was to lead Capital City Baptist Church (Sacramento, Calif) in long-range planning to create goals and objectives for action ministry. The goals and objectives were designed to be reached within three to five years. The goals included the establishment of reachable ministry goals, improvement of the Bible teaching program, greater involvement in outreach, and greater love for fellow members. The congregation was given opportunity, through open forums, to give valuable insight to the planning. The results were approved by the congregation's acceptance of the Guidebook, a new Glorieta plan to improve teacher training and the relocation of the church by 1992. Evaluation of the project was provided through the use of questionnaires, verbal dialogue, and pledges to the capital campaign for relocation.
