Abstract
  • The focus of this ministry project is an evaluation of United Theological Seminary's West Virginia In-Context program. The research methods utilized were surveys and interviews of students, faculty and judicatory partners as well as the researcher's observations of other related interactions. The project identified the strengths and weaknesses of the program throughout its ten-year history and was successful in gathering data which will be beneficial to the future of the program. Based upon research findings, the researcher concludes that the in-context model is an effective strategy for delivering theological education to students in West Virginia and the surrounding area.
