Abstract
  • The project surveyed clergy families with membership in the Florida United Methodist Conference in order to study their needs and willingness to receive training in the relocation process. This survey examines their adjustment and support needs throughout the relocation process. This project offers a number of suggestions for improving the consultation process and for providing clergy families with support. The survey information shaped the design of a pre-relocation package and post-relocation retreat offered clergy families. This support and training offers the clergy family better insights, understanding and support throughout the relocation process.
