- Abstract
- This study attempts to define some common themes between blended families who believe that they are functioning well. Three families are interviewed and described. The units interviewed consist of a remarried couple, former spouse and their spouse, and the children involved. The themes that emerge are presented and possible areas for additional research are defined. There is also a focus on how this study relates to churches and pastoral counselors as they deal with this new family type.
