- The purpose of this project was to equip selected elderly residents of Buckner Westminster Place, a retirement community in Longview, Texas, in intercessory prayer. The project examined both a practical approach to intercessory prayer for this interdenominational setting as well as the need to maintain self-identity, purpose, and meaning in life for the residents as they age. The sessions written for the project were biblically based and focused on the three domains of learning (cognitive, affective, and psychomotor) to equip the participants for a ministry of intercessory prayer.
