Abstract
  • The thesis of this project is that the views toward the church in China of many Western evangelical mission organizations began to become more favorable around 1981. The method of research demonstrates how the TSPM as a mass organization under the united front is wooing over Western evangelicals. The author then shows the response of Western evangelicals and gives a true account of the Chinese church situation. The results of the research showed that fifty percent of evangelical missions are becoming more favorable toward the TSPM while still holding some reservations.
