Abstract
  • The purpose of this project was to equip the active deacons at Gladeville Baptist Church in Gladeville, Tennessee, with the skills needed to implement the simple church process for discipleship. The project director researched the simple church process and the skills needed to implement and participate in the process. He developed and led an equipping workshop to train selected deacons in these simple church process skills. In this project report, the project director has provided information on the process and results of research. He has also provided details about the development of the equipping workshops, the results from evaluating pre-tests and post-tests, evaluation by expert evaluators, evaluation by those who participated in the equipping sessions, and reflections by the project director.
