The project used computer technology to teach principles of hermeneutics to church leaders. Computers, modems, and a commercial computer online service were used to teach a hermeneutics course as a form of distance education. Individuals located across the United States were involved in weekly online conferences. The project showed that computer-assisted distance education is a viable approach in educating church leaders.
