The thesis here is that narrative preaching is an effective way of reaching the vision of liturgical preaching, which is interpreting peoples' lives through the scriptures so that they can more deeply celebrate the Eucharist. Narrative liturgical sermons were preached over a three-month period in a large Catholic church. Small group interviews were done with a total of forty-one parishioners. The results confirm the thesis that liturgical preaching is enhanced through a narrative approach.
