  • This project relates the Walk to Emmaus program to the mission of a local church and seeks to determine the most effective ways in which its theological and programmatic value enhances the ministry of a congregation. The validity of the Emmaus program is evaluated through the use of two primary survey instruments. The results indicate that the Emmaus Walk is an effectual means of rejuvenating individuals in the Christian faith, involving them in small groups, and equipping them for service in the Church of Jesus Christ.
