- Abstract
- This project addresses the subject of spiritual formation and direction for clergy and implements one of four spiritual direction models. The model employed is an information or educative one based on the theological method of Bernard Lonergan and the psychology of C G Jung, and it explores both intentional and affective consciousness. The model was utilized to enable participants to think methodologically; to appropriate their own religious experience; and to view the spiritual direction process as vital to the training of clergy through their denominations and educational institutions.
