Abstract
  • This project explores the theological, cultural, and organizational components that can be foundational for development of a new paradigm for a moderate Baptist church that could reconstruct itself for effective ministry in a postmodern world. From examination of the history of the present moderate Baptist movement, evaluation of current concerns within the movement, and a projection of future trends among moderate Baptists, the project concludes that a new church handbook should be designed specifically for moderate Baptist congregations.
