- Abstract
- The project was conducted at the Coastal Oaks Church in Rockport, Texas. The purpose was to increase the effectiveness of volunteer ministry leaders at Coastal Oaks Church by empowering them through ministry supervision. Following an orientation retreat, the ten volunteers participated in twelve weeks of supervision, wherein the participants created their own ministry covenants, ministry job descriptions, and planned and evaluated specific ministry assignments. The author concluded that ministry effectiveness is increased through ministry supervision.
