- The hypothesis was that selected group members could be taught to understand and appreciate a variety of worship styles. The developed training curriculum included the following methods: didactic seminars, personal interviews, group discussions, and group-led worship services. The teaching curriculum included the following topics: the history of Baptist worship; the influence of historical eras, sociological groups, personal interests, personality type, and communication skills upon worship style. Historical, descriptive, and experimental research methodologies were used with the selected group. Statistically significant changes in cognitive awareness and attitudinal change toward variations in worship style were measured in the selected group members.
