Abstract
  • This project was designed to positively impact the mentorship of six postmodern African American clergy through transformational instruction. The sessions were held during eight weeks with two hours per session consisting of lectures, Power Point presentations, experiential exercises, and journaling. The six participants were assessed through pre- and post-test consisting of a Likert scale instrument as well as open-ended questions. The transformation process in the six participants' was assessed following the eight-week sessions. As a result of the session the six participants have a desire to engage in mentorship and have a better understanding of mentorship.
