Abstract
  • The project's purpose was to equip a selected group of members of West Point Baptist Church in Cullman, Alabama, with skills for developing a community ministry strategy and to train the group to use those strategic skills in the West Point community. Three phases were incorporated into the project: research, development, and implementation. The research phase consisted of investigating various community ministry strategy methods. The developmental phase consisted of using the research findings to develop material for the project retreat that the student planned for group training. During the implementation phase, the project director worked directly with the select group in a retreat setting to equip them for the community ministry.
