Abstract
  • This work focuses on the development of a leadership training program for directors of faith-based ministries in Latin America. Many young leaders lack sufficient training, guidance, and support in their pursuit of excellence in leadership. This problem is often exacerbated by pressure to produce short-term results. The leader is often overworked, under-resourced, and overwhelmed at the multiple challenges of ministry leadership. The place of Scripture is seen as integral to leadership style, form, and substance. The thesis identifies seven key facets of ministry leadership which are then translated into training modules and then formulated into a one-day training program.
