Abstract
  • The purpose of the project was to lead selected members of the First Baptist Church (Krotz Springs, Louisiana) in implementing a strategy for ministering to persons who are HIV positive. The program of instruction was divided into thirteen sessions. Topics discussed were: a personal God, a compassionate Christ, a ministering church, and a biblical view of judgment. Descriptive survey methodology and simple statistical evaluations were used with an experimental group. Statistically significant growth was measured in the cognitive test (p=.0028) and the attitudinal test (p=.0183).
