Abstract
  • The purpose of this study was to learn what pastors of churches experiencing contemporary revival should do to sustain revival and maintain church health. The methodology was a descriptive case study of two churches: a suburban charismatic church outside Baltimore (Rock City Church) and a United Methodist congregation in rural Pennsylvania (Washington Crossing UMC). A literature review and the two case studies contributed to a concluding list of 'Advice to those pastoring a church in revival.' This advice covers the areas of leadership, revival meetings, personal considerations, and relationships beyond the local church.
