Abstract
  • The church, serving as a bridge for the Kingdom of God, can support the education of our nation's children in the public schools by boundary breaking and by organizing collaborations that are dedicated to equipping and empowering young people. The following was done: relationships were established and nurtured between the church, faculty and staff of the public high school; church staff became involved in student life during and after school hours; Life Coping Skills were facilitated; corporate and community partnerships were initiated through the collaborative efforts of the church; and lesson plans for future Life Coping Skills seminars were developed.
