Abstract
  • The thesis for this project proposes that basic biblical principles inform pastoral ministry and provide the basis for certain gestalt techniques (developed by the author and using tissues) as useful for identifying and expressing anger in a pastoral marriage and family therapy ministry. The method employed to determine the effective use of the biblical basis for tissue techniques was a pastoral ministry with four separate married couples counseled in eight fifty-minute sessions of pastoral therapy. The result of the pastoral study indicated successful identification and expression of anger by a majority of participants, providing additional assistance to ministry.
