Abstract

The purpose of the project was to lead Aliceville First Baptist Church to develop and adopt a set of administrative policies that would enhance the church's ability to fulfill its purpose and mission. Through a series of sermons and discussion classes, the congregation explored its purpose and mission. A policy committee composed, and the church adopted, a set of policies that reflected that purpose and mission. Evaluation of the project confirmed that Aliceville First Baptist Church could be led to develop administrative policies which reflected its mission and purpose.
